All ages are welcome at our homeschooling sessions. We believe in creating an inclusive environment where diversity in age, background, and learning stages enhances the experience. Children learn a lot from each other and we celebrate that in our sessions.

As an independent Forest School, we follow the Forest School ethos, which allows us to integrate various learning approaches like Montessori, Rousseau, Locke, and Reggio Emilia. Instead of a formal curriculum, we offer flexible, child-led activities that promote creativity and development.

Our site offers a variety of areas for exploration, including:

• A fully equipped outdoor kitchen

• A large loose parts play area

• Swings and hammocks

• Messy and craft areas

• A painting wall

• Den building area

• Weaving station

We’re always adding new features, like our current project— a large wooden gazebo to provide a sheltered, versatile space.

We are committed to using natural, eco-friendly materials and strive to make the woodland environment as sustainable as possible, reusing and recycling whenever we can. Our aim is to provide a safe, fun, and educational space that promotes health, well-being, and learning for homeschooling families in Leicestershire.
